Lauren P. Ballew, MHA, CMPE – VP of Global Operations

As VP of Global Operations, Lauren aligns the global RCM teams with the Client Success teams to ensure efficiency in revenue cycle operations for our clients. Her close working relationships with global teams, client success teams, clients, and vendors allow her to identify opportunities for process improvements, minimize administrative burdens, and keep a strong focus on inclusive communication to engage all key stakeholders. The talented global operations team is engaged in pushing the envelope of technology use, analytics, and customer service in an industry that tends to lag behind others in business process advancements.

Lauren decided to pursue a career in healthcare administration after spending a few years in the advertising industry. As she started working in revenue cycle services, she saw that the healthcare industry was a rich opportunity to help others while carving out her professional niche in operations. Her passion for operations has grown over the years from specializing in onboarding practices for revenue cycle services to later taking on more responsibility as Director of Operations for a revenue cycle services firm. She enjoys the challenge of providing customized service to meet the needs of each unique practice while maintaining internal process standards that drive high-quality outcomes.

Lauren earned her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill, as well as her BS in Business Administration. She has achieved board certification (CMPE) from the American College of Medical Practice Executives and is an active member of the North Carolina Medical Group Management Association, including prior terms as the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Committee Chair and ad hoc member of the leadership council. When she’s not solving healthcare business operations problems, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
