PMG Welcomes Revenue Cycle Management & Billing Client: Advantage Health Centers

Pawtucket, R.I., August 14, 2013 –PMG Inc., a leading supplier of revenue cycle management and consulting services to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), has entered into an agreement to serve Detroit Healthcare for the Homeless, d.b.a., Advantage Health Centers of Detroit, MI.

Pawtucket, R.I., August 14, 2013 – PMG, a leading supplier of revenue cycle management and consulting services to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), has entered into an agreement to serve Detroit Healthcare for the Homeless, d.b.a., Advantage Health Centers of Detroit, MI.

PMG will provide Advantage Health Centers with:

  • A comprehensive suite of revenue cycle services in areas such as reporting, medical billing, denial management and claims clearinghouse
  • Consulting services, including a full revenue cycle assessment to improve effectiveness and efficiency of front-end billing processes
  • Ongoing in-service and unlimited CHC specific WebEx training sessions to ensure appropriate coding by physicians, revenue maximization, compliance and optimal billing processes


Detroit Health Care for the Homeless, Inc. was incorporated in 1986 to improve the health of their most vulnerable population.  In 2003, DHCH expanded its mission to include all of those who are uninsured, or who live in areas where there are not enough doctors available.  Since then, DHCH has done business as Advantage Health Centers and now operates a network of medical and dental clinics. Through the years the organization has grown in the number of patients served and office locations.  In 2012 Advantage Health Centers generate more than 50,000 patient visits.

According to Director of Fiscal Services, Amy Evans: “AHC has historically struggled with getting their revenue cycle running like the well-oiled machine it should be and we’re confident that PMG can help get us there.
